Ellen McCormick Martens
Born 1946 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

PROFILE
I am a mixed media artist, working in acrylic and collage on paper, wood panels and canvas. I painted landscapes for many years. Then for a time, I painted symbolic shapes, dream images, and mythologized portraits of friends and family. Recently I spent several years learning to create abstract art, because nothing else expresses my inner feelings.
